Ramirez, Johnson, and Associates is expanding and we are searching for a leader who can influence quality, guide people, and help shape the direction of our mechanical engineering practice. Our projects span high performance affordable housing, breweries, restaurants, municipal facilities, and major transportation hubs. What You Will Do
- Lead mechanical system design across commercial, municipal, and specialty building projects
- Manage project delivery and coordination from early concept through construction
- Mentor, support, and guide junior and mid level engineers
- Review engineering documents for quality, performance, and constructability
- Advance technical standards, workflows, and best practices within the mechanical discipline
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and design partners
What You Bring
- 6 to 12 years experience in mechanical building system design
- Mechanical Engineering degree required
- Strong HVAC and plumbing design capabilities with proficiency in Revit and CAD
- Ability to oversee projects, manage schedules, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
- Clear communication skills, professional presence, and a leadership mindset
