PROJECT LEAD ELECTRICIAN

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in high end residential settings
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately determine the layout of electrical systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, performing necessary repairs or replacements to ensure optimal functionality
• Ensure all work strictly adheres to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations, prioritizing safety and compliance
• Collaborating effectively with project managers, clients, and other tradespeople on job sites to complete projects safely and efficiently
• Ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are readily available for projects
• Maintaining accurate records of work performed, materials used, hours worked, and other required documentation

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the residential electrical industry
• Journeyman license with minimum 5 years of experience as a Lead Electrician
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, including low voltage applications and lighting control
• Ability to troubleshoot issues associated with electrical wiring, systems and equipment
• Familiarity with lighting control systems and their integration into residential electrical systems
• Ability to produce neat and safe installation of wiring and components at the highest level
• Familiarity with electronic recordkeeping, note taking and documentation
• Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints and manuals
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Attention to detail and follow-through
• Must be a self-starter and be able to accomplish tasks in a timely manner with little supervision
• Must be able to maintain regular, reliable attendance and ensure on time daily arrival
• Enthusiasm, pride and a positive attitude towards their work
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients
• Knowledge of all NEC, OSHA, Safety, and Quality Control codes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
