Technical Training Administrator (Pay $65,000-$95,000)
Mirra Co, a family-owned utility construction firm with headquarters in Georgetown MA, is looking for candidates that are experienced in Natural Gas Utility industry. An ideal candidate will have utility, construction, training, or operations experience. The Technical Training Administrator reports to the Training Manager and Gas Operations Director.
As a Technical Training Administrator, you will help develop the knowledge, skills, and field performance of natural gas professionals. You will work with the Training Manager, Gas Operations Director, supervisors, and field personnel to identify training needs and help employees successfully apply classroom learning in the field.
Qualifications:
· 5+ years utility, construction, training, or operations experience
· Ability to safely lead, motivate and inspire a team
· Be able to communicate effectively with crews, management, and clients
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer related tasks is required
· Excellent computer organization skills
· Excellent leadership abilities
· Time management skills
· Ability to collaborate with others and work independently
· Valid driver’s license
Responsibilities:
· Conduct hands-on natural gas training and qualification testing.
· Work directly with technicians, foremen, supervisors, and field personnel to strengthen technical knowledge and job performance.
· Conduct observations in classroom and field to help bridge the gap between classroom training and real-world field application
· Monitor employees’ OQ statuses and assist in scheduling them for reevaluation
· Adapt to changing Training and Testing protocols to stay ahead of industry expectations
· Provide technical solutions to improve or enhance performance
· Perform audits to Identify training needs
· Review customer O&M and understand requirements
· Adhere to compliance needs and documentation
Preferred But Not Required:
· Previous experience training, coaching, or developing employees
· Operator Qualifications
· Experience conducting hands-on evaluations or assessments
· Familiarity with O&M procedures
· Microsoft experience
· OSHA 10 certification
