McCullough Management, a software implementation consulting firm, has an immediate need for a highly skilled Contract Instructional Designer and Trainer specializing in ERP systems, with a particular focus on the education sector (K-12 and Higher Ed) and Oracle Fusion Cloud. We are seeking talented individuals for contract opportunities, both 1099 and W-2 depending on the specific engagement, to support our clients in implementing and optimizing their ERP solutions. This is a general call-out for experienced professionals interested in a variety of contract roles, including remote, hybrid, and onsite positions.

About the Role:

As a Contract Instructional Designer/Trainer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful adoption of ERP systems within educational institutions. Working under the direction of our Training Director, and alongside Business Systems Analysts, Project Managers, and Organizational Change Managers, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering engaging and effective training programs for end-users on a contract basis. This includes needs analysis, curriculum development, materials creation, and ongoing support.

Responsibilities (may vary depending on specific contract):

• Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps and learning objectives, in collaboration with the Business Systems Analysts.
• Design and develop engaging training materials, including online courses, instructor-led presentations, quick reference guides, and video tutorials.
• Deliver training sessions using a variety of modalities (e.g., in-person, virtual, blended).
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure accuracy and relevance of training content.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest Oracle Fusion system updates and features.
• Provide ongoing support to end-users.
• Manage training logistics, including scheduling, registration, and materials distribution.
• Contribute to the development of training best practices and standards.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure training deliverables are aligned with project timelines.
• Partner with the Organizational Change Manager to address user adoption challenges and ensure smooth transitions.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Instructional Designer and/or Trainer, specifically with ERP systems.
• Demonstrated experience working within the education industry (K-12 or Higher Ed) or governmental organizations is essential.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Proficiency in developing training materials using various authoring tools and technologies (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Captivate, Camtasia).
• Experience with various ERP systems is required (please specify any specific ERP experience in your application, e.g., Banner, PeopleSoft, Workday, Oracle, SAP).
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud is preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, particularly in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to adapt to different learning styles and training environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with learning management systems (LMS).
• Certifications in instructional design or training.
• Experience in training and change management related to ERP implementations.

Contract Type:

These are contract positions, with opportunities for both 1099 and W-2 engagements depending on the specific client requirements and project duration.
