Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate MSW (Master of Social Work), LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker), or LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) to join practice Turning Minds Professional Association. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health treatment to Individual, Couples and Families struggling with mental health and relationship challenges. Your expertise will help improve patient outcomes through personalized counseling, crisis intervention, discharge planning, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams. Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify psychosocial needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and behavioral therapy.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate clinical interprofessional communication and ensure holistic client care.
• Coordinate community resources and support services to assist patients with housing, transportation, financial assistance, and other social determinants of health.
• Manage discharge planning
• Document all clinical encounters accurately within electronic medical records (EMR) systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, providing immediate support for patients experiencing mental health emergencies or trauma-related issues.

Qualifications

• Valid MSW degree from an accredited program; current LMSW or LCSW licensure required according to state regulations.
• Proven experience working with diverse populations including children, individuals with disabilities.
• Strong knowledge of social work practice standards, clinical ethical guidelines, HIPAA compliance, and medical terminology.
• Experience in clinical counseling modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), applied behavior analysis (ABA), and motivational interviewing.
• Familiarity with hospital settings, inpatient or outpatient clinics, nursing homes, or home & community care environments is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform comprehensive client assessments and case management while maintaining detailed medical records and understanding ICD coding systems (ICD-9/10).
• Excellent communication skills for client engagement and multidisciplinary collaboration across healthcare teams.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and in high-pressure situations requiring crisis management or emergency response.

Pay: $35.00 - $60.00 per hour
