Sales
Work in the exciting music industry!
This role will be a combination of maintaining an existing nationwide territory along with new business development; handling inbound calls and making outbound warm phone leads from our existing customer database. You will be working with a seasoned sales expert, that can help further develop your success to help you do what you do best…sell!
Musical instrument knowledge background preferred but not necessary. We train, and have a high tech software system that makes learning the product easy.
** This is for an in-house position – remote work is not an option **
We are seeking an inside sales rep that is confident in their sales abilities, impatient for results, and is ready for a challenge! Compensation potential is high for those who are willing to work hard at increasing current sales and generating new business!
The ideal candidate is a competitive self-starter, comfortable in making a minimum of 60 customer contacts a day (via calls/emails), generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing sales. We are right off I-75, located on the border of Troy and Madison Heights, just down the street from the Oakland Mall.
Responsibilities

Will service and grow an established territory of nationwide music retail accounts.

Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails

Prospect call preparation including company background research and other pertinent lead information

Identify customer’s buying trends and provide reports to management

Enter, update, and maintain CRM information on leads, prospects, and opportunities
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Sales, Business, Marketing or similar is preferred

At least 1 – 2 years’ of sales experience

Must be assertive and impatient for results

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Have the ability to multi-task and keep organized

Musical Instrument Knowledge is helpful, but not required.
Pay
Base Salary plus Commission + paid time off for sick days, vacations, major holidays, medical benefits & 401K plan.
