Service Technician (Mechanic) with formal training and/or minimum three years of related experience for growing Heavy Equipment Dealership - This is a challenging opportunity to demonstrate your ability to trouble shoot equipment failures, use your skill and extensive knowledge to maintain and repair construction equipment, and build customer relationships, as a Field technician you will perform work offsite at customer locations as well as work in shop. This position requires experience diagnosing, repairing, and servicing heavy construction equipment and knowledge of computer based manufacturer diagnostic service tools.

Pay Rate is dependent on experience and skill level

• Diagnosing and repairing heavy construction equipment (excavators, bull dozers, wheel loaders, etc.) in accordance with manufacturer standards.
• Removing and Replacing mechanical or electrical components to include but not limited to engines, crawler tracks, attachments.
• Operate diagnostic equipment for the purpose of testing (requires climbing into operators compartments)
• Read schematics as required to diagnose and perform repairs
• Use manual and automated tools and devices in the repair of equipment.
• Operate company equipment and/or vehicles
• Lifting, carrying, and positioning of components.
• Use of overhead crane in shop or electric truck mounted crane in field.
• Use of welding machine and air compressor.
• Utilize computer based diagnostic software
• Perform tasks in various surroundings: within CLM service shop, outside/yard at CLM facilities, and at customer job sites.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers.
• Clean work area.
• Extensive climbing, bending, lifting generally required in repair of certain equipment types.
• Perform routine service and minor repair on CLM shop equipment and/or service vehicles.
