About the Role
PGS Gold and Coin is looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven IT Administrator to manage and optimize our company’s computer and technical infrastructure. You will serve as the backbone of our technological operations, ensuring that our networks, servers, software and hardware systems are secure, efficient, and fully operational for our team. The ideal candidate is a natural problem-solver with a strong background in IT support, cloud-based environments (like Google Workspace), and local infrastructure.
In addition to your day to day standard IT Responsibilities, you need to have a very strong background in AI and the ability to create Agents that work for you make our company a leading edge player.
And in additon to AI Skills, you need to have a very strong background and experience in Business Analysis and Business Process Definition.
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure & Network Management
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize LAN, WAN, and remote Access networks to ensure secure and uninterrupted connectivity.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, servers, and peripherals.
- Manage the deployment and ongoing administration of new users, backups and all other IT related systems.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify bottlenecks or potential infrastructure issues.
Security & Data Protection
- Enforce robust cybersecurity protocols, manage firewalls, and maintain routine security/antivirus checks.
- Develop and execute reliable data backup, archiving, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, and security settings across all corporate platforms.
Technical Support & User Management
- Provide tier-1 to tier-3 technical support to both local and remote employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, and other technical issues.
- Google Administrator overseeing the company's AI Technology Strategy.
- Handle IT-related onboarding and offboarding procedures in coordination with the HR department.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation for network configurations, IT policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Procure IT equipment, manage vendor relations, and handle software license tracking.
AI Responsibilities
- Deploy Models: Own the end-to-end integration and containerization of AI models into our scaling web applications.
- Clean Complex Data: Architect and maintain data pipelines to ensure our models are trained on reliable, high-quality data sources.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Translate complex technical AI mechanics into clear, simple concepts for non-technical stakeholders and product managers.
- Monitor & Optimize: Track model drift, latency, and token costs in production environments.
- Prove Output: A portfolio of completed AI projects or applications successfully shipped to production.
- Core Fundamentals: A deep foundational understanding of machine learning algorithms, beyond just writing basic text prompts.
- Problem Solvers: Experience navigating messy, unstructured, real-world datasets.
Business Analyst Responsibilities
- Using your current skills, you will quickly become intimately familiar with all the processes and operations of our company.
- You will guide the CIO and the ERP Manager in the development of our Odoo ERP System.
- You will become educated about other companies Best Practices and Standard Procedures incorporated into their own EPR Systems, and you will evaluate their Systems to incorporate the best of their solutions in to our own.
- You will gather feedback from our own Users, and guide our CIO and ERP Manager with how to best incorporate improvements in our own ERP System.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum 8 years of proven, hands-on experience in IT administration, systems administration.
- Solid working knowledge of Windows OS, along with Google Workspace, MS Office and other common software.
- Solid working knowledge of VPN, VLAN Hopping, DNS Hijacking(Redirection), Phishing Avoidance, SSO.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and network hardware setup.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Bonus: Relevant industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CompTIA Security+, PCNSE, CWNA, VMware VCP-NV, Ubuntu bash, PowerShell, Lansweeper or DLPI ticketing systems
- Excellent writing skills, Technical Writing preferred.
- Proven experience with Windows PCs, Networking and all other Technical aspects of small business..
- Familiarity with ERP systems, and Business Flows.
- Understanding of IT infrastructure components including cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, Google Workspace environments, GitHub, and application deployment processes.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with others.
- Willingness to travel as needed to any of the 5 stores to resolve issues, install and maintain hardware and all other needs.
