Experienced CNC EDM Sinker Specialist – Precision Starts Here!

1st Shift - Mol-Son, Mattawan, Michigan

We’re looking for a skilled CNC EDM Sinker Specialist to join our Tool Room Team. In this role, you’ll program, set-up, and operate CNC EDM equipment to manufacture precision tooling and mold components that support high quality, efficient production.

What you will do:

• · Program, set-up, and operate CNC sinker EDM machines.
• · Manufacture precision tooling, mold components, and fixtures to engineering specifications.
• · Read and interpret blueprints, CAD models, and engineering drawings.
• · Diagnose machining and programming issues and implement effective solutions.
• · Inspect completed components using precision measuring equipment to ensure dimensional
• · Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• · Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge & Skills

• Experience in programming and operating CNC EDM equipment (sinker EDM).
• Strong knowledge of tooling, machining practices, and precision manufacturing.
• Ability to read blue prints and work to close tolerances.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software and precision measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of injection molding process and tooling requirements.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with problem solving ability.
• A team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
• High attention to detail and strong commitment to quality work.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Well-organized and self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks independently.

Education and Experience Requirements

• · Highschool diploma or equivalent
• · Experience operating CNC EDM equipment.
