Tecnau is seeking an experienced Technical Service Trainer to join our Technical Services team. This customer-facing role is responsible for developing and delivering advanced technical training for customers, business partners, and internal service personnel supporting Tecnau's digital print and finishing solutions.
The ideal candidate is an organized and professional technical expert with exceptional communication and presentation skills, a strong electro-mechanical background, and the ability to simplify complex technical concepts into effective classroom and hands-on training. Proficiency with Microsoft Windows operating systems and office applications is required. This position includes occasional domestic and international travel.

Key Responsibilities
· Deliver instructor-led classroom and hands-on technical service training at the North Andover Training Center and, when required, at customer and partner locations.
· Create, develop, and maintain comprehensive technical training curriculum, including instructor-led classroom materials, hands-on laboratory exercises, service procedures, multimedia content, and supporting documentation.
· Design, develop, administer, and continuously improve Computer-Based Training (CBT) programs and e-learning content to support customer, partner, and internal technician certification and ongoing education.
· Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and update curriculum based on field feedback, product enhancements, and customer requirements.
· Maintain training equipment, demonstration systems, and training facilities to ensure they remain operational, current, and representative of field installations, including mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software updates.
· Evaluate trainee performance and provide feedback to ensure technical competencies and readiness for field support.
· Coordinate and manage customers, partner, and internal technical training schedules.
· Provide technical telephone and remote support when not engaged in training activities.
· Travel domestically and internationally, as required, to support customer installations, technical training, and service initiatives.
· Participate in the department's scheduled after-hours on-call support rotation.
Qualifications
· Minimum of 5 years of technical training experience in administering, creating, developing, and maintaining comprehensive technical training curriculum, including instructor-led classroom materials, hands-on laboratory exercises, service procedures, multimedia content, and supporting documentation.
· Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and update curriculum based on field feedback, product enhancements, and customer requirements.
· Design, develop, administer, and continuously improve Computer-Based Training (CBT) programs and e-learning content to support customer, partner, and internal technician certification and ongoing education.
· Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
· Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts effectively in both classroom and field environments.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and training programs simultaneously.
· Experience in digital print, production print, industrial printing, finishing, inserting, or other complex electro-mechanical equipment is a plus.
· Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
· Previous experience developing technical training curricula or instructional materials.
· Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and CBT authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, or similar instructional design software.
· Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and technical certification program development.
· Familiarity with PLC-based controls, industrial automation, and motion control systems (B&R, Siemens, Beckhoff, or similar) is a plus.
· OEM field service or technical training experience supporting high-speed production equipment.
· Experience with high-speed production printing systems, finishing, converting, inserting, or mailing systems.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
