What You'll Do

As a Sales Engineer, you will own and grow your assigned territory by:

• Building strong relationships with manufacturer's representatives, consulting engineers, mechanical contractors, building owners, and developers.
• Driving specification activity and creating demand for VTS HVAC solutions.
• Conducting technical presentations, lunch-and-learn sessions, and product training.
• Identifying and developing new business opportunities throughout your territory.
• Managing projects from specification through quotation, award, and close.
• Partnering closely with Application Engineering to deliver accurate technical solutions.
• Representing VTS at customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows.
• Collaborating with Product Management and Engineering to continuously improve our products and customer experience.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field preferred.
• Experience in commercial HVAC, mechanical systems, engineered equipment, or technical outside sales.
• Proven success in business development, account management, or territory sales.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify, develop, and close new opportunities.
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently.
• Ability to travel approximately 50% within the assigned territory.
• Experience working with consulting engineers, mechanical contractors, design-build firms, facility owners, or manufacturer's representatives is highly preferred.
