About the Role:

The Regional Safety Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive safety programs across multiple sites within a designated region in the United States. This role ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local safety regulations while fostering a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement among employees. The manager will lead risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions proactively. Collaborating closely with site leadership and cross-functional teams, the Regional Safety Manager drives initiatives that reduce workplace injuries and promote employee well-being. Ultimately, this position plays a critical role in safeguarding the organization’s workforce and assets by maintaining the highest standards of occupational health and safety.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management, preferably in a multi-site or regional capacity.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant federal, state, and local safety laws.
• Proven experience conducting safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation.
• Experience in the manufacturing, construction, or logistics industries.
• Familiarity with ISO 45001 or other occupational health and safety management systems.
• Advanced training in emergency response and crisis management.
• Proficiency with safety management software and data analytics tools.
• CDL is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor regional safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and reporting to prevent recurrence and improve safety performance.
• Provide training and guidance to site managers and employees on safety best practices and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety considerations into operational processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and present safety performance reports and metrics to senior management and stakeholders.
• Manage emergency response planning and coordinate drills to ensure preparedness across all regional sites.

Pay: $70,636.77 - $85,067.93 per year
