Our farm features three exquisite wedding venues, each providing an enchanting backdrop for couples to celebrate their special day. We are seeking a reliable, organized, hands-on Facilities Supervisor to oversee the upkeep, cleanliness, setup, and overall readiness of our three wedding venues. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
The Facilities Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring our venues are consistently clean, functional, organized, and beautifully prepared for each event. This position will supervise and coordinate venue setup and turnover operations, assist with facility needs, and work closely with the General Manager, Maintenance Manager, Venue Leads, Wedding Coordinators, and other event staff to ensure all properties are operating at the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate event setup and turnover operations across all three venues, including arranging ceremony and reception spaces with tables, chairs, décor elements, and other equipment
- Supervise and provide direction to setup and turnover staff, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to company standards
- Oversee breakdown and cleanup following events, ensuring venues are properly reset, clean, organized, and ready for the next event
- Conduct regular inspections of all venues and properties to identify and address facility, cleanliness, organization, and maintenance needs proactively
- Ensure all venues are clean, organized, well-maintained, and guest-ready at all times
- Maintain inventory of venue supplies, equipment, tools, and operational materials; communicate needs and reorder supplies as necessary
- Assist with outdoor maintenance, including landscaping, seasonal upkeep, weather-related preparations, and overall property appearance
- Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager regarding repairs, preventative maintenance, and facility issues that require attention
- Respond promptly to facility needs and urgent issues during events or business hours
- Assist the General Manager, Venue Leads, and Wedding Coordinators with event-related needs and operational tasks as needed
- Support the Wedding Coordinators and Venue Leads with venue preparation and event execution to help ensure seamless events
- Assist with coordinating staff and resources between multiple venues as needed
- Help train and ensure setup, turnover, and event support staff understand and follow company standards and procedures
- Monitor venue equipment, furniture, and décor for damage or needed repairs and communicate concerns to the appropriate team member
- Assist with ensuring all venues are properly secured and maintained between events
- Work closely with the Maintenance Manager and General Manager to prioritize facility projects, repairs, and improvements
- Support other departments and staff members as needed to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain compliance with local regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in facilities management, property management, event operations, maintenance, or a related field preferred
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repair work is a plus
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to supervise and coordinate staff
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (50+ lbs.) and be on your feet for extended periods
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks across multiple locations
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a larger operations team
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
