Senior People Technology Analyst — Workday Advanced Compensation
Experience Level: Senior (8–10+ years)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, with flexibility to work earlier mornings or later evenings as needed to meet with the India-based team
Role Summary
This role is focused on delivering project solutions for Workday Advanced Compensation, with additional project support for other Workday initiatives — including Core HCM, Performance Management, Benefits, and Security — as time permits. The role will also be a key player in the implementation and ongoing support of Gem.
Because system configuration is owned by IT, this position focuses on requirements gathering, functional design input, test strategy and execution, data auditing, documentation, and project management for Workday initiatives — partnering closely with IT to translate HR needs into configured solutions.
The ideal candidate brings an AI-first mindset, using AI tools to build test scripts, automate manual processes, create and review documentation, and support the development of plug-and-play tools that leverage Workday data.

- Conduct data audits as needed to support various programs and projects
- Leverage AI across all workstreams where relevant — testing, process review, audits, workflow development, and more
- Review incoming demand and make prioritization recommendations based on capacity and resources
- Collaborate with the Total Rewards team on new technology needs; assess current system capabilities against requirements and recommend a path forward, particularly around adopting new AI capabilities
KTLO Support (Backup Coverage)
- Monitor the Jira queue and provide timely support, resolution, and ticket assignment
- Manage small enhancement requests across various areas of Workday
- Develop Workday reports as needed
- Partner with IT on root-cause analysis and validation of fixes prior to release

- Workday Advanced Compensation expertise required; expertise in several other Workday HR areas — including Performance Management, Core HR, Security, and Reporting — also required
- Gem experience highly desired; solid experience with other ATS/TA tools is an acceptable substitute
- Experience supporting adjacent systems (e.g., recognition tools, Jira) a plus
- Expert-level Google Sheets and/or Excel skills, including using both for data auditing
- Hands-on familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) for automating workflows, generating test scripts and documentation, or building lightweight tools
