POSITION SUMMARY:
The Retail Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting marketing communication and retail marketing projects for various brands and categories being sold through mass-market & specialty retail, online, and reseller channels both B2B and B2C. Specific functions include channel partner support, collateral, online assets, graphic design, social media management, , channel and retail-company-specific tradeshows & events. Working with the Marketing and Sales team, and external vendors, the Retail Marketing Coordinator projects support demand generation, sell-through, and marketing across all channel partners and internal TargetPath marketing initiatives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Channel Partner Support
-Sales resources (custom presentations, sales collateral, launch and product assets)
-Create email campaigns to partners with measurable call to action
-Merchandising
- Aid execution of detailed merchandising plan with partners to maximize brand exposure
- Aid in development of various in-store POP displays
- Aid in POP sourcing including suppliers, end-product, and schedules
-New product launch materials and updates
- Develop / maintain selling tools
- Audit product marketing sheets
- Effectively communicate launch within the channels
-Create internal trackers / Monday.com for channel activities per channel or partner
Collateral
- Graphic design and copy through various graphics programs
- Maintain & update partner and brand specific collateral
- Manage print collateral such as business cards, inventory & print runs, as needed, for internal and channel partners within budget
- Manage SWAG orders as needed for internal and channel partners within budget
Web & Online Content
- Collaborate with the marketing managers to aid online marketing projects, including email campaigns, product launches, keyword-based search advertising with partners
- Asset toolkit build outs for partners to utilize on their own web pages
- Collateral management for external partners
- Build sheet management for partner item setup
- Audit and work to fix minor grammar, brand or imaging issues with partner detail pages
- Aid in product listing optimization of partner detail pages
- Maintain and edit the TargetPath website
Social Media
- Planning to align with the clients overall company strategy
- SoMe content for various brands and through various social channels
- Assist in developing and compiling monthly messaging calendars and write copy for all social posts.
- SoMe calendar planning around events, launches and drive time
- SoMe responses through DM or comments
Events
- Provide pre-event support for shows & events, including preparing event orders, literature, SWAG & partner seeding kits, shipping and ensuring on-time delivery of materials
- General administrative assistance to the channel marketing, marketing, and sales team
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- May complete desktop publishing assignments including email communications, bulletins, HTMLs etc.
- May provide additional editing support for MarCom and sales activities
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS degree in Marketing, News media or relevant field
- Proven experience in Social Media or Marketing within the Consumer Electronics or Fashion industries preferred
- Expertise in multiple social media platforms
- Knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
- Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
- Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels
- Ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with great creativity
- Multitasking and analytical skills
- Tech savvy with a high degree of proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of products; working knowledge of photoshop preferred
- Graphic design and/or photography skills/experience highly desirable
OTHER:
- Ability and willingness to work nights or weekends for tradeshows or events
