Job Overview

The Vice President of Human Resources serves as a strategic business partner responsible for leading all human resources functions, supporting organizational growth, and fostering a high-performance workplace culture across Freewind's U.S. operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with company goals.
• Lead talent acquisition, workforce planning, and succession planning.
• Build competitive compensation and benefits programs.
• Develop employee engagement and retention initiatives.
• Oversee performance management systems.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Lead employee relations and conflict resolution.
• Develop leadership training and organizational development programs.
• Oversee HR policies, procedures, and HRIS systems.
• Support mergers, expansion, and organizational changes.
• Advise executive leadership on workforce planning and HR risks.
• Manage HR budgets and departmental performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law and HR best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience supporting manufacturing or multi-state operations preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese is strongly preferred.

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
