This position primarily assists in coordinating the placement of manufacturing orders and maintain the production schedules for the western species utility pole network. Additional duties include reviewing/compiling reports, collaborating with other departments, and executing/maintaining process improvement projects under the guidance and supervision of the Master Scheuler to support the networks overall operations.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Plans and processes orders of numerous Stella-Jones locations to support supply chain needs.
- Daily order processing into network treating/production schedules.
- Coordinates and expedites priority orders.
- Assists in process improvement efforts under guidance of Master Scheduler.
- Monitors late orders and other designated KPIs.
- Maintains production targets through reporting and communication.
- Assists with the weekly production call presentation preparations.
- Collaborates with designated plant representatives and Sales to manage plant inventories and target levels.
- Participates and contributes to company safety program.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
