Overview/ Job Responsibilities:
Position is contingent upon contract award and funding.
Entarian is seeking an experienced MBSE Engineer (SysML / Cameo) to support system development through Model-Based Systems Engineering practices, using SysML and Cameo to define, analyze, document, and validate system architectures. This role enables consistent communication across engineering teams and ensures requirements, behaviors, and structures are captured within the system model throughout the life-cycle.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Develop and maintain SysML models (requirements, behavior, structure, parametrics) using Cameo
Translate stakeholder needs and system concepts into formal model elements
Integrate MBSE practices into program processes, including requirements analysis, architecture development, and verification planning
Create diagrams including Activity, Sequence, State Machine, Use Case, Block Definition, Internal Block, and Parametric diagrams
Ensure model traceability across requirements, design elements, interface definitions, verification methods, and test artifacts
Support the development of the Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix (RVTM) within the system model
Conduct model-based analyses, trade studies, and simulations to assess architectural alternatives
Manage model configuration, version control, and collaborative modeling environments
Generate model-based documentation (architecture descriptions, specifications, interface control documents, etc.)
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure model accuracy and alignment with system implementation
Support integration of MBSE tools with other engineering environments (e.g., DOORS, Jira, code analysis tools)
Assist in verification and validation activities by ensuring requirements are testable and correctly represented in the model
Salary range: $140,000.00 - $170,000.00
Minimum Qualifications:
- Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.

Minimum ten (10) years of experience supporting complex defense, space, communications, information technology, intelligence, or mission operations programs.

Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Engineering Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline. Equivalent experience may be considered.

Professional experience developing SysML models using Cameo Systems Modeler

Knowledge of MBSE methodologies and standards (INCOSE, DoDAF, UAF, OMG SysML)

Experience with requirements analysis, architecture development, and system design

Familiarity with version control and model repositories (Cameo Teamwork Cloud, Git, etc.)

Strong understanding of system lifecycle processes and configuration management

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare and present technical briefings to senior government leadership.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Power-Point, Excel, Project, and Outlook.

Ability to travel approximately 25% to support customer locations, mission partner engagements, technical reviews, and operational activities.
