We're looking for a Medical Assistant skilled in Phlebotomy to join our team. This position will be primary involved in lab draw management, but will have the opportunity to support as a Medical Assistant. The right candidate will have a passion for women's health and a keen eye to detail and task management as we are a busy and growing practice. Applicants must have at least 3 years of clinical office experience, including 1 year of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Support patient care by greeting and rooming patients and maintaining high standards of customer service at all times.
• Collect and process patient specimens, follow proper protocols and safety guidelines.
• Manage patient documentation and communication on EMR.
• Support EMR triage addressing OBGYN concerns.
• Sterilization of equipment and rooms, maintenance of supplies, and preparing areas for patient visits.
• Manage lab draws and/or injections during appointment times.
• Additional projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• 3 year in clinical environment.
• 1 year of Phlebotomy experience, certificate of training highly recommended.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to personal growth.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment
• Ability to follow strict protocols and adapt to changes in testing procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
