Definition of Service:
Outpatient therapists provide clinical support and intervention to children, adolescents, adults, families, and groups with an identified mental health or substance abuse diagnosis. This service is designed to meet the specific individual mental health needs of the identified individual receiving the service. This service can be provided in an office, home, educational, or other appropriate community setting. Outpatient therapy includes psychoeducational activities and psychotherapeutic interventions designed to assist the individual with long and short-term goal identification, reduction of symptoms, and progress through their individual recovery process. Services are provided with individual centered and family centered approaches and are delivered in a comprehensive integrative manner through intensive, time-limited, and goal driven interventions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
**Services must only be provided in the specific ICS site approved by insuring bodies and outlined in agency and individual contracts.**
