Job Summary

Efficient Developemnts is seeking an experienced Asphalt Superintendent to lead and oversee asphalt paving projects from start to finish. This role is vital in ensuring the successful execution of construction activities, maintaining safety standards, and delivering high-quality results on time and within budget. The Asphalt Superintendent will coordinate with project Superintendents and Project Managers for daily schedules and required installation of the asphalt activities per the. project specifications and client expectations.

Duties

• Perform paving layout for daly paving operations.
• Must have a clear understanding of all mechanical and technacal aspects of the Asphalt Paver and Rollers
• Have the ability to operate the asphalt paver screed and rollers.
• Must understand and be able to teach the correct rolling patterns for paver and roller operators.
• Have knowledge of the different asphalt types.
• Lead and supervise asphalt paving crews, ensuring all work aligns with project plans, schematics, and safety protocols.
• Monitor project progress, adjust schedules as needed, and communicate updates to site supervisors.
• Oversee quality control processes, including nuclear gage and core sampling for testing requirements.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $104,000.00 per year
