About the role
We are currently in search of instructors for the Courageous Cooking School online. The Courageous Cooking School online is an online cooking school for renegades, recipe-free wannabes, home cooks and chefs who want to improve their skills in a joyful, expansive environment.
At the Courageous Cooking School we know that 1) you are trustworthy. Our kitchen is your kitchen. 2. Your intuition is better than any book. You know what you’re doing –even if you don’t realize it just yet. 3. You can cook. In fact, if you enjoy eating, you’re naturally inclined to be great at cooking. Maybe not baking…but cooking? Heck yeah.
Our Chefs, Cooks, and Curriculum Director have tested and crafted what we believe to be the most beautiful way to teach cooks of all stripes how to create, explore, and play with food.
The goal of the Courageous Cooking School? To teach anyone, and yes we mean ANYONE, to cook from the hip and develop the skills that will make cooking pleasurable for years to come.
Who YOU are:
- You have a specific style of cuisine that you are passionate about and can't wait to share this passion with students who want to learn.

You are engaging,
- You are a skilled cook/ chef who believes in our methods and philosophy (as detailed above).

You have specific cooking skills and love to play with new flavor combinations.

You have a culinary background, a culinary degree, and/ or a degree in food science/ studies.

You have some teaching experience (either in training people in a kitchen environment or teaching people face-to-face/online) and love engaging with your students.

You are located in a US time zone (to accommodate our mostly US based students).
What you will be doing:

Teach live, online classes each week as your schedule allows, utilizing our teaching methods (we will provide training).
- Share your love and passion for cusinine with
- Collaborate with our marketing team to create content to recruit new students.
You’ll be expected to:

Engage with students 4 days per week inside our online school

Teach 2 classes per week at the outset, and grow as the community grows (if you want to!)

Respond to student questions and comments in a timely manner

Manage the overall day to day operations of the online cooking school

Optional additional responsibilities and compensation: recruiting students/ affiliate bonus
Your performance will be measured by:
Student retention rates, student engagement/ participation and new student sign ups (if agreeing to student recruitment responsibilities).
Benefits and compensation:

Monthly stipend for approximately 15 hours per week time commitment + additional affiliate. Stipend is commensurate with experience. Added bonus for those that sign on to student recruitment.

Fully remote work.

Four day work week.

Education stipend and investment stipend after one year of employment.
