We are seeking a reliable, organized, and hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving and shipping cargo, maintaining accurate inventory records, operating warehouse equipment, and ensuring the warehouse remains clean, safe, and organized. Experience in the moving, logistics, or freight forwarding industry is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming cargo and outbound shipments.
• Load and unload shipping containers and trailers using a forklift and other warehouse equipment.
• Create warehouse receipts and maintain accurate shipment records in the company management system.
• Verify shipment quantities and inspect cargo for damage.
• Organize and maintain warehouse inventory to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of freight.
• Prepare shipments for delivery and coordinate with drivers and office staff.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Perform routine forklift inspections and follow all safety procedures.
• Assist with inventory counts and warehouse audits.
• Lift and move heavy boxes and household goods as needed.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, logistics, or freight handling experience preferred.
• Forklift operating experience (certification preferred but not required).
• Ability to safely lift and move heavy items.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn warehouse management software.
• Attention to detail and accuracy when handling inventory and documentation.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license is preferred.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
