The Production Associate plays a key role in ensuring our food products are produced safely and efficiently. Production Associates will work on the production line, performing various tasks related to the manufacturing, packaging, and quality assurance of our food products.

We are seeking full-time production associates for our production facility in Newton, NC.

• You must be able to work ANY shift and weekends.

Production Associate Pay: $19.87/hour - $20.98/hour

Hours: 40 hours a week (some overtime may be required)

• Production associates are required to work 12-hour shifts – Includes day or nights, weekends, and holidays

Production Associate Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and production of food items following established standard operating procedures.
• Operate food production equipment safely and effectively.
• Carry out all tasks in a manner that promotes food safety and complies with all quality, safety, and health standards and regulations.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure production output meets company quality standards.
• Assist in packaging and labeling finished products according to company specifications.
• Handle raw materials and finished products in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Ensure production schedules are met by completing assigned tasks efficiently.
• Report machinery or equipment issues to the shift supervisor or maintenance department.
• Participate in training and continuous improvement activities as required.

Perform additional duties as assigned by management, including adherence to work schedules, attendance policies, and operating procedures.

JOB FUNCTIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have open availability, including the ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to move throughout all production areas of the plant.
• Ability to read and review written instructions and communicate clearly in English.
• Ability to perform routine tasks using standard procedures and equipment.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for up to 12 hours per shift.
• Ability to routinely stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
• Must have previous production work experience
