Northeast Delta Human Services Authority is seeking an Administrative Program Specialist-A to provide administrative support with all aspects to billing up to and including seven Behavioral Health and Primary Care Outpatient Clinics. This position is a journeyman level, which provides clerical support with minimal instructions and directions.

Three years of experience in administrative services; OR
Six years of full-time work experience in any field; OR
A bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties:

Responsible for developing, facilitating, and overseeing the 2-day billing training for all new hires during onboarding to include the printing of all manuals and materials for the training and access to all systems and training on how to use each system. This role establishes, implements, and revised billing training for staff according to payer edits, LDH, and CMS guidelines, as well as manages, maintains, and stores all staff onboarding billing training records in compliance with all state and federal guidelines.

Schedules, creates, and conducts quarterly training for administrative staff with a focus on billing updates, providing corrective action of billing errors, and addressing any other billing deficiencies at the Regional Office for all administrative staff.

Coordinates and facilitates monthly visits to 7 clinics locations to assess administrative needs and conduct audit of billing processes for compliance with agency policy and procedures.

Generates monthly AR, ODR, and Action Code Summary reports for the Billing Manager and Chief Financial Officer to assess and monitor agency-generated revenue. This role also submits write-off requests to CFO and identifies accounts to be transferred to the Office of Debt Recovery.

Responsible for the posting and reconciling of account receivables daily while maintaining accurate records to support the collections of payments received and the submission of monthly billing statements.

Assists with the credentialing/certification process by adding new hire clinical staff to the agency's CAQH provider database for billing purposes.

Location: Monroe Regional Office (Administrative Office)
Compensation: NEDHSA is a designated approved National Health Service Corps (NHSC) site. Clinicians who work at NHSC-approved sites are eligible to apply to the NHSC Loan Repayment Program to pay off student loans.

2-year Full-Time Clinical Practice: NHSC will pay up to $50,000* for an initial 2 years of full-time clinical practice to clinicians.
(Full-time clinical practice is defined as no less than 40 hours per week, for a minimum of 45 weeks per year.)
