Job Type: Part-time (15-20 hrs/week), 1099 Contract
Rate: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour depending on experience

Education: Associate’s degree required; background or experience in invasive species management preferred
The North American Invasive Species Management Association (NAISMA) is a not-for-profit organization that seeks a PlayCleanGo® Program Assistant to further its mission: to empower invasive species management in North America. We value collaboration, inclusivity, and strong partnerships with professionals across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
PlayCleanGo®: Stop Invasive Species In Your Tracks® is NAISMA’s official branded education and outreach campaign focused on preventing the spread of invasive species through outdoor recreation pathways.
We are seeking a highly organized PlayCleanGo® Program Assistant to support the day-to-day implementation of PlayCleanGo® education and outreach activities. This is a part-time support role focused on carrying out established work plans, maintaining organized records, coordinating partner communications, and assisting with outreach, social media, and program logistics.
The successful candidate will be comfortable managing recurring tasks, tracking multiple projects, following established workflows, and meeting deadlines while providing professional support to partners across North America.
This position works closely with the Director of Invasive Species Programming and plays an important role in helping implement the PlayCleanGo® Five-Year Program Plan and current grant-funded activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Support
Provide administrative and operational support for the implementation of the PlayCleanGo® Five-Year Program Plan and current grant activities, including assisting with:
Boot Brush Program Support
Support the distribution of boot brush stations and handheld boot brushes by:
Communications and Graphic Design
Support PlayCleanGo® communications by creating and scheduling content that aligns with established brand standards. Responsibilities include:
Grant and Reporting Support
Events and Exhibits
Team and Organizational Support
