The future is looking bright in Texas! RenewableWorks is immediately accepting applications for an exciting new solar project in the Nixon area. Whether you're a seasoned solar professional or aspiring first-timer, we'd love for you to join our crew!

As a member of our team, you'll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, refueling and delivering equipment and tools to site crews that are responsible for maintaining solar systems and other structures in compliance with site assessments and schematics. You'll be instrumental in the operations of sustainable energy units on commercial solar farm sites.

Heads up: This is a physically demanding role that will require you to work in all kinds of weather. A strong work ethic will serve you well, along with prior solar construction experience (this is a plus, not a must!).

JOB RESPONISIBILTIES:

• Every day will be a different adventure - you should be prepared for daily changes
• Fuel and lubricate all equipment daily
• Diagnose and determine proper repair options with management
• Daily service, inspection observation, maintenance and reporting all equipment Pile Driver Hydraulic Power equipment
• Service and maintenance of all types of equipment such as Forklift, Skid Steer, Hydraulic Pile Driver
• Service and maintenance of all equipment tires
• Service and maintenance of various types of small engines
• Maintain logs tracking all service records
• Supervise and maintain safety of all tools in your care
• Completing labor-intensive work in various weather conditions
• Performing materials staging and general job site cleanup and organization
• Ensuring safety comes first - always!

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 2 years of mechanic experience working with both diesel and gasoline engines
• Valid Driver's License and must pass and clear MVR (Class B license preferred but not required)
• Must have experience and understanding of hydraulic systems
• Swage Gun experience
• Ability to read plans and schematics
• Solar construction site experience in equipment maintenance
• Ability to make repairs on UTV's
• While tools will be provided on site, please come ready with steel or composite toed boots and hot/cold weather gear
• Attention to performance details
• This work is not for the faint of heart - Strong work ethic and positive attitude will serve you well
• Hard working and dependable

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift up to 50-75+ pounds and remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation
• Tasks will involve excessive and repetitive walking, bending, kneeling, twisting, reaching, standing, lifting throughout entire shift
• Communicate with the ability to hear and talk on a regular basis with project personnel
• Ability to exchange accurate information to project teams Frequent use of sight to detect images on computer, office documents, objects near and far, and safety awareness
• Occasionally ascend or descend site equipment as needed for inspection, maintenance, or repair

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated to range between $38.00- $38.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including but not limited to experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate's skills and experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive skills and experience. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor were prohibited by local law.
