About the Role

The Revenue Cycle and Finance Operations Manager will lead our revenue cycle team, strengthen collections, improve accountability, and build scalable systems for the future.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who is comfortable managing people, tracking performance, solving problems, and improving processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the revenue cycle team
• Oversee private-pay, insurance, and Medicaid collections
• Monitor accounts receivable, delinquency, write-offs, and bad debt
• Establish clear workflows, responsibilities, and performance expectations
• Manage departmental and individual KPIs
• Coach employees and address performance issues
• Review aging, denials, failed payments, and unresolved balances
• Handle complex patient and payer escalations
• Improve processes, documentation, training, and cross-coverage
• Prepare regular performance reports for leadership
• Support the integration of future acquisitions
• Coordinate with the outside accounting firm
• Gradually assume selected finance operations responsibilities, including expense coding

Required Qualifications

• Experience managing a multi-location healthcare or dental revenue cycle, billing, collections, or patient accounts team
• Strong understanding of accounts receivable, aging, denials, collections, and payment arrangements
• Experience using KPIs and reporting to manage employee and department performance
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and billing or practice management systems

Preferred Experience

Orthodontic or dental revenue cycle experience

• Commercial insurance and Medicaid billing experience
• Experience with recurring payment plans and autopay
• Experience improving revenue cycle processes
• Experience supporting acquisitions or integrating new locations
