We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to support accurate and timely payroll processing for employees. This role is ideal for someone with payroll experience who is comfortable handling sensitive employee information, resolving payroll inquiries, and ensuring payroll is processed in compliance with applicable tax and labor regulations.

The Payroll Specialist will play an important role in supporting smooth payroll operations, maintaining confidentiality, and contributing to a positive employee experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll
• Calculate wages, process deductions, and review payroll information for accuracy
• Help ensure compliance with applicable tax and labor regulations
• Generate payroll reports as needed
• Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee and payroll information
• Serve as a point of contact for payroll questions, inquiries, and discrepancy resolution
• Use payroll systems to support seamless payroll operations

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of payroll experience required
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Experience responding to payroll-related inquiries and resolving discrepancies
• Proficiency with payroll systems

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of payroll taxes and experience working with different agencies
• Certified payroll knowledge
• Experience with Paycom

Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
