Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our baking manufacturing team in Lenexa, KS.

This is a 90-day temp-to-hire opportunity. Successful employees may be offered permanent employment with the client upon successful completion of the introductory period.

Starting Pay: $21.22/hour - you will be paid weekly

Schedule

Production Associates work 12-hour shifts that includes weekends and holidays.

Available Shifts:

• Day Shift: 5:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
• Night Shift: 6:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.

Typical schedule consists of:

• Three (3) 12-hour shifts
• One (1) 6-hour shift each week
• Every other week includes a 3-day weekend

What You'll Do

As a Production Associate, you'll help produce some of the nation's favorite bakery products while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include:

• Operate production equipment following established procedures.
• Prepare, assemble, package, and inspect bakery products.
• Maintain product quality and food safety standards throughout production.
• Perform quality checks and report any defects or equipment issues.
• Package and label finished products.
• Handle raw materials and finished goods safely and efficiently.
• Keep work areas clean and organized following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Follow all company safety policies, food safety requirements, and work procedures.
• Meet daily production goals while working as part of a team.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.

Qualifications

• No previous manufacturing experience required—we will train the right candidates.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Dependable with excellent attendance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Comfortable working around food products while following sanitation procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours.
• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and repetitive hand movements.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures throughout the production facility.
• Ability to safely perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
