We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic AP Physics Tutor to join our team. As a Remote AP Physics Tutor, you will work one-on-one with high school students to help them understand complex physics concepts, prepare for exams, and excel in their AP Physics course. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about physics and enjoy teaching in a flexible, remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized instruction and support to students in AP Physics, including AP Physics 1, 2, and C (Mechanics and Electricity & Magnetism).
• Develop customized lesson plans that align with the AP curriculum and meet the individual needs of each student.
• Assist students in understanding difficult concepts, solving problems, and preparing for AP exams.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods and materials as needed to ensure comprehension and success.
• Offer guidance on study strategies, exam preparation, and time management to help students maximize their performance.
• Maintain regular communication with students (and parents, if applicable) to provide updates on progress and address any concerns.
• Utilize online tools and platforms to conduct tutoring sessions, share materials, and track student progress.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Education, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of AP Physics curriculum and exam structure.
• Previous experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly in AP Physics or other advanced high school-level physics courses.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
• Proficient in using online communication tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet) and digital learning platforms.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their academic goals.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, depending on student availability.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
