Onsite: Quarterly in Tampa for alignment & roadmap work

We’re looking for a rare hybrid leader — someone who combines strategic technology leadership with the ability to be hands-on and execution-focused when needed.

This is not a “title-only” role.
This is not purely managerial.
And it’s not purely an IC dev role either.

This is for someone who wants to own a platform, shape its evolution, and still jump in to make meaningful technical impact.

You Will Own

• Defining and driving the technical roadmap
• Ensuring platform maturity, reliability, and quality
• Making key architectural decisions and guiding implementation
• Leading and improving the engineering function
• Partnering closely with leadership to align technology with business goals
• Contributing hands-on when the platform needs deep technical expertise

• Identifying and prioritizing technical initiatives
• Bringing structure, predictability, and confidence to releases
• Guiding developers with clarity and accountability
• Mentoring engineers and building strong engineering culture
• Balancing innovation with stability and pragmatism
• Diving in personally to solve complex problems when necessary

• Proven experience leading engineering in a software environment

Compensation & Structure

Flexible depending on experience. Options may include salary, performance incentives, equity participation, or phased engagement depending on fit.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
