Merit Logistics is looking to hire experienced warehouse workers to join our team in Lockhart , TX.

You will be unloading and doing putaway and will be doing some selection. Reach truck and EPJ experience is preferred.

Dress warm, as the position is in a 35-degree room.

1st shift ( 3 needed ) Sunday-Friday 7:00 am until finished ( around 5:30 pm )

3rd shift ( 7 needed ) Sunday-Thursday 10 pm - 6:30 am

Qualifications:
Warehouse experience a big plus but not required.

• Ability to move and lift continuously
• The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• The ability to work in a physically demanding warehouse environment – continuously lifting and moving up to 75lbs
• The ability to meet fast-paced productivity goals and standards
• Must be able to work in cold areas (35 degrees)
• The ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, sometimes with little notice to no notice
• The ability to work overtime, including weekends and holidays, without advanced notice
• Reliable transportation to and from work is a MUST

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND CHARACTERISTICS REQUIRED

Accuracy – Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.

Detail Oriented – Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task.

Communication - Ability to read, write and understand English.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE

Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work.

Willingness and ability to perform manual work following verbal and written instructions.

Prior experience operating a forklift and pallet jack preferred. Will train and certify associates holding positions requiring the use of such equipment.
