Banquet Bartenders at OceanCliff Weddings, Banquets, and Corporate events provide beverage services to guests in a courteous and efficient manner, while adhering to policies. Part time to Full time hours depending upon business demands.

Responsibilities:

• Sets-up and breaks down the bars for each function.
• Maintains excellent customer service by answering guests' questions about liquor brands, pricing selections and proper glassware.
• Maintains complete knowledge of designated glassware, ingredients, preparation methods and garnishes for each drink required for a specific event.
• Assures the standardized meter pourers are on all alcohol bottles
• Prepares all drinks according to policy and charges appropriately as required at cash bar. Bartender is responsible for all monies collected.
• Complies with all Federal, State and local laws as related to the serving of alcoholic beverages

Qualifications:

• Demonstrates knowledge of legal responsibilities of a bartender under the Rhode Island liquor law and third-party liability law.
• Understands and anticipates guests’ service needs.
• Must be well organized, maintains concentration and thinks clearly when providing service to a minimum of 15-25 guests within any given period of time.
• Focus and attention to detail.
• Performs job functions with minimal supervision.
• Works cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
• Must be able to work a variety of day/night/weekend and holiday shifts
