We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Print Production Operator to prepare customer files for both Digital and Litho Presses. This role involves generating proofs and PDF files for client approval, ensuring accuracy and quality at every stage of the production process. The ideal candidate will be proficient in utilizing a range of industry-standard software for file preparation, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and various RIP (Raster Image Processor) servers.

Key Responsibilities:

• File Preparation: Efficiently prepare and optimize customer files for both Digital and Litho printing presses, ensuring they meet all technical requirements and production specifications.
• Proof Generation: Create accurate proofs (both physical and digital) and generate high-quality PDF files for client approval, ensuring clarity and alignment with project requirements.
• Software Expertise: Utilize industry-standard design software, including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, to manipulate and refine files for production.
• RIP Server Management: Operate and manage various RIP servers, ensuring smooth file transfer and processing for both digital and offset presses.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough pre-press checks to ensure all files are correctly formatted, color profiles are accurate, and files are print-ready.
• Client Communication: Collaborate with clients, sales teams, and production staff to resolve any file-related issues and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the print process.
• Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve any software, hardware, or file issues that may arise during the file preparation or production process.

Qualifications:

• Strong experience in print production, with a deep understanding of both Digital and Litho printing processes.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and various RIP server systems.
• Solid understanding of pre-press processes, color management, and file formats.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
