Founding Mobile Engineer

• Full-time • Equity • Atlanta preferred (Remote considered)
• We're looking for our first dedicated mobile engineer to own the future of Double Holo's iOS and Android experience.
• This isn't a feature factory role.
• You'll shape the architecture, product direction, engineering culture, and mobile roadmap alongside the founders. You'll make decisions that affect every collector using the platform.
• If you enjoy building products from zero to one - and then scaling them to thousands of passionate users - you'll have enormous ownership here.

What You'll Build

You'll own our React Native application across iOS and Android.

Some of the problems you'll work on include:

• Building an industry-leading slab scanning experience using the camera, OCR, and MLKit
• Creating real-time marketplace experiences including live order books and instant pricing
• Bringing sophisticated analytics from our web platform to a native mobile experience
• Optimizing performance until scrolling, animations, and camera interactions feel effortless
• Designing offline-friendly experiences for collectors at trade shows and conventions
• Improving release pipelines and developer experience
• Working directly with our Rails backend to design APIs that are mobile-first instead of mobile-compatible

You'll be successful if you...

• Have built and shipped production React Native applications
• Care deeply about performance and polish
• Can comfortably move between JavaScript, TypeScript, native debugging, and backend APIs
• Enjoy owning products rather than implementing tickets
• Like working directly with users and shipping quickly

Bonus points if you've built camera, OCR, computer vision, marketplace, fintech, or e-commerce applications.

Collecting trading cards is a plus - but definitely not required.
