Five r mre years recent experience in peratins and facilities/energy management. Familiar with lcal, State, and federal cdes/rdinances as they apply t peratin f sch- l facilities.
Requires cmputer literacy t manage functins and systems such as building autmated systems, wrk - rders.
Pssess a cmprehensive knwledge f building autmated systems, facilities maintenance, and essential knwledge f plumbing, heating, electric, carpentry, and mas- nry.
Satisfactry wrk rec- rd & criminal/child abuse clearances (Acts 34, 114, and 151)

Summary
Assists the Executive Directr and Directr f Facilities Services in managing all aspects f facilities services fr the district. Prvides all students, faculty, and public with a physical learning envirnment that is safe, clean, healthy, and mechanically sund. Supervises and trains custdial, maintenance, and department persnnel in mdern techniques and skills.

Essential Duties and Respnsibilities
Under the directin f the assigned supervisr, plan, rganize and direct maintenance and peratins activities f the District; supervise and evaluate the perfrmance

Ensures high standards f wrkmanship, safety, cleanliness, and security are maintained by the schl district cust- dial/maintenance staff
Administers, mnitrs, and certifies time recrds, vacatin requests, and sick leave fr custdial/maintenance persnnel t ensure accurate recrds and payrll pr- cessing
Wrks t administer and implement the custdial/maintenance c- llective bargaining agreement
Cllabrates with building principals t- ensure that individual building needs are met
Assists the Executive Directr and Directr with respnsibilities related t cnstructin prjects, t- include biding and planning details.
Plan and implement a systematic prgram f preventive maintenance establish pririties f maintenance and special prjects; develp prcedures t assure that rutine and emergency maintenance needs are res- lved.
Cnsult with engineers cvering heating, mechanical and electrical requirements f new and renvated buildings maintain utility and energy management rec- rds
Administer building autmatin systems, FMX wrk- rder and facilities usage management systems.
Administer building security systems and d- r access card systems.
versees the specificatin and administratin f nging schl district service cntracts in the Facilities Department which include, but nt limited t, building autmatin systems, mechanical, cnstructin, fire equipment service, fuel usage, pest cntrl, equipment, vehicle maintenance, p- l services.
versees the specificatin, testing, purchasing, efficiency and inventry f cust- dial/maintenance supplies and equipment.
Plans and administers all schl district envirnmental and safety prgrams t include annual and bi-annual reviews and reprts (i.e., Integrated Pest Management, Right t Knw, Prfessinal Develpment, indr air quality, path- gen assessment, drills)
Prvides central administratin with safety infrmatin, data, and reprting as needed and assists the District Safety C- mmittee when needed.
Develps specificatins, tests, bids, and purchases nging schl district building needs including BMS equipment, HVAC equipment, carpeting, stage curtains, drapes, windw shades, auditrium seating, student lckers, etc., and mnitrs and apprves the wrk f cntractrs hired t install - r implement.
Assists in the preparatin f the custdial/maintenance department budget, and prepare and administer the utility budget as related t electricity, natural gas, diesel fuel, gas- line and water & sewer.
Plans and administers department hiring f regular, substitute and summer yuth emplyment prgram t include recruitment, screenings, and recmmendatins f- r hire.
Assess department staffing needs are met at building lcatins and fr after schl hurs, t include the daily reassignment - f staff as needed.
Cllabrates with the District Fd Service and Transprtatin Departments, and lcal municipalities t prepare budget and reimbursement effrts and ensure the accuracy f rep- rts.
Assumes the duties f the Directr f Facilities Services in her/his absence and cllabrates with ther Assistant Directr f Facilities Services t- ensure department needs are met.
Perfrms such ther tasks and assumes such ther respnsibilities as may be assigned r delegated by the Executive Directr and Directr f Facilities Services and/r the Superintendent f Sch- ls.
