THE ROLE
Entegris is currently seeking an Engineering Manager to join our Manufacturing Engineeringteam. This position will be based in our Burnet, TX facility.
In this role, you will lead a team of engineers whose objective is to sustain and continuously improve specialty chemical manufacturing processes for products used in semiconductor manufacturing. Our specialty chemicals enable our customers to build high performance semiconductor products. This role will be primarily responsible for the engineering team that supports our Solids production work cell.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
WHAT WE SEEK
· Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or similar preferred.
· 10+ years of experience in a technical role
· 5+ years’ experience in a managerial role in the semiconductor industry or related industries providing oversight and direct coaching to a team of engineers
· Experience transferring and/or scaling up new chemical manufacturing processes
· Understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) as well as statistical data analysis for application to Qualification and Validation. Experience with Minitab a plus. Preferred Lean/Black Belt certification, and competency in statistical process control methodology
· Demonstrated ability to lead structured problem-solving using tools such as 8D, FMEA, 5 Why, RCA, etc
· Experience working with the business units and customers to lead technical task force teams to solve quality problems at customer sites
· Aptitude for leadership to drive cross-functional project execution and problem solving while maintaining positive/collaborative working relationships
· Ability to present technical data to all levels of the organization
· Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and wear PPE as necessary
· Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally in support of various engineering projects/escalations (<5%)
· Familiarity with handling hazardous materials
