- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025, and other applicable quality requirements.
- Review and approve lab data, investigations, and material release decisions.
Assure Furnace Room Performance
- Partner with engineering to qualify, validate, and optimize furnace processes.
- Investigate anomalies or precious metal losses using structured root‑cause analysis.
- Maintain airtight traceability and reconciliation of all precious‑metal materials.
Drive Continuous Improvement
- Lead Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and DMAIC initiatives to reduce variation, scrap, rework, and cycle time.
- Shape key quality KPIs and champion digital transformation for lab and furnace operations.
Own CAPA, Risk & Metrology
- Lead CAPA, nonconformance analysis, MRB support, and risk mitigation activities.
- Own measurement system strategy—MSA, Gage R&R, calibration, and measurement‑uncertainty reduction.
- Support internal, customer, and third‑party audits with confidence.
