We are looking for a professional, hard-working and reliable, full-time Quality Inspector to join our team. The quality department plays a critical role by controlling the quality of the products and processes that support our client base.
Position Responsibilities:
● Become SME for technical products such as circuit boards and programming
● Operate as the technical liaison between equipment assembly and quality control for developments and training
● Become troubleshooting point of contact for production when manufacturing issues arise to assist with root cause analysis for equipment processes
● Perform inspections on all incoming goods relative to equipment assembly in accordance with Quality Control Plan and Engineering drawings
● Perform in-process and finished goods inspections as required, assist with development and improvement of such processes as opportunities for improvement are recognized
● Review GMP and company standards regularly to ensure compliance and quality of inventory produced
● Establish and maintain a working understanding of the manufacturing process in each of the consumables and equipment assembly departments
● Perform and record daily quality control checks on production lines
● Have accountability for quarantine area and segregation of all non-conforming inventory, tracking all segregated Vendor or Production materials from the equipment processes including root cause analysis techniques
● Maintain and file documentation such as travelers, and inspection forms; update all trackers as needed
● Rework and repack segregated inventory as directed to bring products up to quality standards, document/record
● Independently perform Rack inspections and Blower burn-ins; documenting test results and segregating all non-conforming inventory
● Assist with creating Standard Operating Procedures on new processes
● Conduct safe operation of electric pallet jacks
● Assist with other quality initiatives as directed by Quality Assurance Supervisor and/or Quality Manager
Qualifications & Skills:
● Ability to use basic quality tools such as calipers, pin gauges, and air flow meters
● Familiarity with GMP or FDA regulations
● Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
● Experience with circuit boards and their manufacturing processes is a plus
Education and Experience:
● 3 years of experience in a quality control position is required
● Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings
● Experience with welding and inspection of welding is a plus
● Background in engineering, mathematics or other science, a plus
