Our sales process is NOT a telemarketing or phone sales job. We bid via a bid board to the US Government. THERE IS NO SELLING, or CLOSING REQUIRED. Just some basic negotiating with vendors to increase both our chances of success.
You will need strong computer skills, be detail oriented, as you must be able to put up lots of quotes without mistakes. The position is very rewarding as the more you bid, the more orders you will receive. Results start in the first couple of weeks, not months down the road.
Some quoting/inside sales experience is preferred. However we have had great luck training the right candidates. High School Diploma Required. Some College Preferred.
Position has a base hourly rate and a variable comp program based upon quotes put up, and orders received. (Variable incentive can be from 0% to 25% of monthly salary
