We're currently looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Leadership Team as our Director of Staff Development / Infection Preventionist.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys mentoring others, improving clinical excellence, and helping shape the future of nursing within our organization.

What You'll Do

In this leadership role, you'll help ensure our clinical team has the knowledge, training, and resources needed to provide exceptional resident care.

Responsibilities include:

• Plan, develop, coordinate, and lead new employee orientation (NEO)
• Develop and conduct staff education, in-service training, and continuing education programs
• Oversee the Nursing Assistant Training Program and Feeding Assistant Program
• Support compliance initiatives and assist with developing and implementing Plans of Correction
• Lead infection prevention efforts while maintaining regulatory compliance
• Partner with nursing leadership to promote clinical excellence and continuous improvement
• Mentor, educate, and support staff throughout their professional development

What We're Looking For

• Current and valid West Virginia RN license
• Associate Degree in Nursing required (BSN preferred)
• 3+ years of nursing experience
• At least 1 year of long-term care experience
• Previous staff education or in-service training experience preferred
• Infection Preventionist Certification required
• Certified CPR Instructor preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Supervisory experience
• Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills
• Proven leadership abilities with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
