Position Summary
Families, Inc. Counseling Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Professional (MHP) to provide high-quality mental health services to students within Greene County Tech Schools. This role is vital in supporting the emotional, behavioral, and psychological well-being of children and families in our community.
The Mental Health Professional will provide direct clinical services including Intake Assessments, Treatment Planning, Individual/Family/Group Therapy, Psychoeducation, Crisis Intervention, and Crisis Stabilization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct mental health services including intake assessments, treatment planning, therapy, and crisis interventions.
- Deliver services at approved school-based locations according to clinical need.
- Monitor caseload daily using the MHP Caseload Compliance Report (Credible) and ensure timely documentation.
- Complete treatment plans every 180 days and submit documentation required for insurance reimbursement.
- Maintain compliance with Policy 4-4 regarding contemporaneous documentation (progress notes and incident reports).
- Furnish required reports to DCFS, the legal system, and other agencies as appropriate.
- Comply with HIPAA guidelines and Families, Inc. Privacy Practices.
- Attend monthly clinic meetings and maintain at least 90% compliance with Medical Staff staffing requirements.
- Provide QBHP supervision and observation as assigned.
- Testify in court when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education & Licensure
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling from an accredited university.
- Must hold an active Arkansas license as one of the following:
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Licensed Master’s Social Worker (LMSW)
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC)
- Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Licensed Associate Marriage & Family Therapist (LAMFT)
Skills
- Required: Strong ethics, ability to maintain confidentiality, effective communication with clients, families, professionals, and staff. Must be willing to travel as needed.
- Preferred: Proficiency with computers, excellent spelling and grammar, strong organizational skills.
