Job Overview
The Dispatcher / Cost Analyst provides operational, administrative, and cost-control support for construction projects and field operations. This position is responsible for coordinating daily crew and equipment dispatch, maintaining accurate job-cost records, monitoring project costs and production performance, and supporting the project management team with documentation and administrative functions.
Duties and responsibilities
- Perform primary dispatching duties for the RJ Noble South Team for all crew and equipment, including but not limited to ordering production materials and rentals. equipment procurement & tracking, trucking, and subcontractors/vendors daily
- Collect and enter daily timesheets into a job-costing computer software (B2W).
- Perform analysis on daily costs, enter daily costs onto a spreadsheet, and inform Superintendents on budget performance vs. actual costs. Report costs to management weekly and track costs for the life of the project.
- Email Timesheets to the project Foreman, and send out crew & equipment lists daily
- Offer administrative support to the project management team.
- Review project plans and specifications, and complete job checklists after contract award.
- Apply for agency permits, perform dig-alert calling and logging, and perform data entry and logging to the project management team.

Required Education and Experience
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, including Engineering, Project Management, Accounting, Finance, or a similar discipline
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction dispatching, project coordination, cost analysis, or related construction administration preferred
Additional Requirements
- Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record required
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
