Position Summary
A well-established civil infrastructure and energy construction company is seeking an experienced, self-motivated Civil Project Manager to join their Project Management team. This role provides full-cycle construction project support, including submittal processing, material management, and budget analysis, for a company known for pushing boundaries on complex infrastructure work.

Duties

• Oversee daily project activities and personnel, including all subcontractor work
• Lead and develop the Project Team (Project Engineer, Cost Engineer, and project support staff), ensuring quality of work
• Monitor project scope for changes affecting budget and/or schedule; identify causes, advise the client, and negotiate change orders as needed
• Identify schedule impacts and monitor cost throughout the project lifecycle
• Forecast and track labor, managerial, and material costs required to complete the project
• Report on profit and loss for assigned projects; maintain a detailed understanding of job costing to support monthly closing meetings
• Review revenue projections and accruals for accuracy, adjusting as needed
• Maintain strong communication with owner representatives to support a positive working relationship
• Coordinate with the project team to determine needed resources (manpower, materials, equipment, subcontractors, permits) within budgetary limitations
• Plan construction operations and schedule project phases to meet deadlines
• Understand project scope and specifications, communicating and documenting changes with the project team

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience; large electric utility or heavy civil construction background required, bridge experience a plus
• Experience working with NYC and New York State public agencies a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering preferred
• Proficient in Procore, P6, HCSS, and Microsoft Office
• PE license preferred

Pay: $140,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year
