What You’ll Do

We’re looking for a Mechanical Estimator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys both technical detail and creative problem-solving. You’ll support our sales and project teams by providing accurate estimates, AutoCAD drawings, and engineering support to help deliver exceptional projects from start to finish. You MUST hold a Mechanical Engineering Degree.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed AutoCAD drawings for mechanical system installations.
• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Review plans and specifications to determine accurate scope of work.
• Perform material take-offs and adjust labor factors for project complexity.
• Collaborate with project teams to lead bidding processes and ensure team alignment.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
• Develop value engineering and energy efficiency options for cost-effective solutions.
• Support project kickoff meetings, field coordination, and technical troubleshooting.
• Review and approve change orders, invoices, and close-out documentation.
• Assist the Sales Manager and field teams with project execution as needed.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with commercial or residential MEP estimating.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, HVAC, and construction codes.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for site visits.

Salary:

• $60,000-$100,000 DOE
