Cathedral Preparatory School is a coed Catholic, college preparatory school, grades 9-12 located in Erie, PA and is part of the Villa Maria Cathedral Preparatory Catholic School System and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Erie. Cathedral Preparatory School is now accepting applications for the following position for the 2026- 2027 School Year: Part-Time Theology Teacher (Part-Time, Grades 9-12)

Essential job functions include the following:

Work collaboratively with a department team, focused on student achievement and developing data-driven interventions.

Plan, evaluate and revise curricula, course content, and course materials and methods of instruction to address departmental standards.

Prepare lessons, grade student work, maintain digital gradebook, use school software, and program coordination.

Build and maintain positive relationships with students, fellow faculty members, and administration.

Communicate effectively with family members of students.

Help with vigilance at school assemblies, prayer services, masses, and other class or school gatherings.

Present at all staff meetings, retreats, and school events/celebrations.

Required qualifications include:

Must be a practicing Catholic.

Must complete all required clearances (Act 34, Act 114, Act 151, Act 168)

Pay: $10,000.00 - $20,000.00 per year
