Role Overview
The Senior Enterprise Network Engineer is a senior individual contributor on Richweb’s Enterprise Network Engineering team, serving as a technical authority for enterprise networking design and delivery. This role is hands-on and technical first, with direct involvement in customer-facing project work alongside the sales team. This role will report to the Richweb CTO.
At Richweb, we believe the best engineers do their best work when they're trusted, challenged, and surrounded by people who take the craft seriously. Based in Richmond, Virginia, we partner with SMB and enterprise clients to design and operate the networks their businesses run on. If you want to stay close to the technology, skip the corporate ladder, and have your fingerprints on work that matters — you'll fit right in.
On a typical day, this role may include building network designs, working through complex troubleshooting on customer networks, leading change reviews, and hands-on configuration or validation for high-impact work. The role is regularly involved in deep technical escalations and ensures solutions are operationally sound and well documented. Most work is performed in small teams in partnership with our customers. A collaborative staff and supportive work environment are Richweb’s foundation for a company with a proven problem solving and learning culture.
