Job Overview
We are currently accepting resumes for a Project Manager to join our Project Management Team. This position is a unique opportunity for a Project Manager who can both manage the physical aspects of a project while also owning the entire project timeline, scope, cost-to-completion, and customer communications regarding project status and delivery. In this role you will be managing projects through the design phase along with the build floor through bring up and production start up at the customer facility.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to lead and maintain a schedule-based project within a budget. The Project Manager will work with each relevant department lead within the company to ensure projects stay on schedule, have the needed resources, and resolve roadblocks and delays before they come up. This person is a hands-on PM who enjoys the process of solving problems and building things. Automotive manufacturing maintenance technicians, process engineers, and project engineers are encouraged to apply. Ultimately, the Project Manager is accountable for the project from start to finish.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Coordinating with the EVP, Commercial and Applications to understand and communicate scope to the Mechanical and Electrical Design teams
· Managing customer scope request changes, working with the EVP, Commercial and Applications to define and quote any needed Engineering Change Requests
· Managing build schedules to ensure on-time completion of projects
· Report schedule delays and countermeasures to the management team in a timely manner.
· Proactively identifying and solving build issues before they happen
· Use of hand and power tools to complete integration builds, tooling adjustments and modifications
· Maintain a build BOM ensuring the team has what they need before they need it.
· Manage install and bring up at the customer’s facility working with the team to ensure a smooth handover of equipment in a production ready state.
· Lead daily status meetings to ensure the team is working to the same timeline
· Travel of approximately 20% is expected, often for two – three weeks at a time
Qualifications and Skills:
· Associate’s degree in a relevant field is preferred
· Strong experience in an integration or equipment install & bring up type settings will be considered for the right candidate in lieu of education
· Prior schedule-based project management
· Highly mechanically inclined including fabrication practices & tooling adjustments
· General knowledge of robots and assembly line tooling equipment in manufacturing is a bonus.

Schedule:
· 8 hour shift
· Monday to Friday
· Longer hours and weekends on occasions based on project needs
Ability to commute/relocate:
· Dublin, OH: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:

Pay: From $78,531.23 per year
