Content Writer (Contract)

Job Responsibilities:
Write compelling, creative copy and taglines for social media, landing pages, paid ads, and other digital experiences
Write authentic, natural-sounding video scripts and dialogue that account for tone of voice, genre, narrative, and storyboards
Apply audience insights, testing, performance data, and tools like AI to scale creative workflows and improve messaging effectiveness
Partner with designers and creative leads to concept and execute integrated campaigns
Translate complex business or technical ideas into clear, persuasive storytelling
Maintain brand voice, tone, and messaging frameworks across all content
Edit and refine copy to ensure clarity, consistency, and impact
Manage and review work produced by external writers, ensuring quality and brand alignment
Oversee the production of written content and related visual content assets
Requirements:
2 or more years of copywriting experience in an agency, advertising, or B2B marketing environment
2 to 5 or more years of campaign copywriting experience across digital, social, web, and paid channels
2 to 5 or more years of experience working with brand voice, messaging frameworks, and creative concepting
2 to 3 or more years of experience in video scriptwriting and narrative development
Proven portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual thinking, campaign execution, and versatility across formats
A portfolio showcasing strong conceptual thinking, campaign execution, and versatility across digital, social, web, and video formats is required for consideration
Strong copywriting skills with the ability to craft compelling headlines, taglines, body copy, and calls to action
Proficiency in writing across multiple formats including social media, paid advertising, landing pages, web content, and video scripts
Deep understanding of brand voice, tone, and messaging frameworks
Ability to translate complex or technical concepts into clear, audience-friendly language
Experience applying audience insights and performance data to inform and optimize creative work
Familiarity with AI tools and their application in scaling creative workflows
Strong editing and proofreading skills with a sharp eye for clarity and consistency
Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage external writers and provide constructive, actionable feedback

Pay Range*: $29 - $33
Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
Job Status: Non-Exempt
